Flavours of Malaysia 2 Cooking Class – 28 Nov

Our Flavours of Malaysia 2 Cooking Class was a class of sorts. We had our culinary foodies from Open Day, our Weekly Free Baking/Cooking Class Giveaway Winners for Nov and our foreign visitors all the way from Austria. Chef Khai started the class teaching everyone the rudiments of cooking Rendang Tok, followed by mouth watering Sweet & Sour Crab and lastly, a refreshing Sarawak Umai (raw salmon fish salad).

Working in pairs, everyone cooked up a storm under the guidance of Chef Khai. Students also learnt how to plate their dishes beautifully. Cameras snapped away. The dishes were the celebrities for the day! Lunch was served and everyone got to taste their own cooking as well as dishes of other students for comparison in smell, taste and texture.

This is what our students and Weekly Free Baking/Cooking Class Giveaway Winners for Nov have to say about At 19 Culinary Studio:-

Kareen Lee, engineer/blogger, 25
I enjoyed the lesson and will be back for more. Chef Khai made cooking Rendang Tok so easy. Thank you so much for the class.

Dr Walter Gluck & Karl Ecker, Medical Doctor & Professional Cook (Austria)
We booked our class from Vienna thru the internet. Booking was easy and response to our enquiries was fast. The school has a very nice set up and good ambiance. We enjoyed our class. We would rate our entire experience at the school as excellent.

Clarence Yap, Businessman, 56
I have not cooked before and came to class rather apprehensive about cooking. I wanted to learn and cook for my family as eating healthy is important nowadays. I enjoyed the class and have signed up for more classes.

Shan Lyn, accountant/blogger, 25
The entire experience was excellent. The ambiance and classroom set up was good. The welcoming by the staff was very warm.
