Private class: Standard Chartered Bank - 18 Feb 2012

Suk Ding and colleagues from Standard Chartered Bank decided to cook up a Chinese New Year feast and what a feast it was. They learnt how to whip up popular CNY dishes in their cooking class aptly themed as "CNY Yums". Chef Bee took the class thru the rudiments, dos and dont's of chinese cooking especially dish presentation for CNY reunions where the dishes must look and taste great! The dishes taught were Broccoli Delight, Golden Beancurd, Prosperity Chicken and Sweet & Sour Fish with a Twist. Yummy!
Everyone had a great time and there were lots to take home for the family dinner. If you would like to organise a private class for your family, friends or your company, do get in touch with us. We have a variety of classes to suit your requirements and budget.

Welcome Bread Basket!

Bread Basket's Sven Schneider and wife Haza signed up for a Macaroons private class with At 19 Culinary Studio on 9 Feb 2012. For those of you who may not be familiar with Bread Basket, it is a german swiss bakery @ Bangsar South and Sven Schneider is the boss. Bread Basket is toying with the idea of selling macaroons at their bakery. We thought it was a good idea since all Malaysians have a sweet tooth.

It was an honour that Sven and wife Haza came to At 19 Culinary Studio to learn how to bake macaroons. So, don't forget when you buy and have a taste of Bread Basket's macaroons, you may find a bit of At 19 Culinary in it too! By the way, At 19 Culinary Studio also bake to order swiss gourmet bread & pastries you find at Bread Basket.
Psst! Cupcake Chic's owner, Joanne Ho also came to our culinary studio to attend our Macaroons 101 Workshop in May 2011 prior to the launch of their macaroons range last year. Read our blog story at http://at19culinary.blogspot.com/2011/05/welcome-cupcake-chic.html
