Eli Lilly wanted to bring together colleagues in Singapore and Malaysia for a Medical Team Engagement Workshop and have some bonding fun too. What better way to collaborate a workshop with a team building activity than to have a baking cookout together. Christina and Willie talked to us and we came up with a proposal to do a cupcake baking and decorating competition. Being a pharmaceutical company, we recommended to do the theme - Medical Aid and what great fun everyone had.
The baking cookout started after all the serious medical workshop stuff was completed and everyone had their stomachs full with a delicious Malaysian lunch. There were lots of laughter as everyone tried to "out-bake" and out-decorate" each other to win the team competition. Judging was based on presentation and creativity. Everyone thought out of the box to create fantastic fondant designs of every imaginable medical related icons. Bravo!

It's time again for us to feature our "Cake of the month" to showcase what we consider our best custom made order cake. The Cake of the month for Aug is a 2-tier 1st Birthday Cake for little Ian and what a birthday cake it was. When Sharon e-mailed us to design a fondant Mickey Mouse cake for her son's 1st birthday party, we couldn't wait to give her our recommendations of the various Mickey Mouse cakes we have done for our customers.
We discussed some cake sample pictures and Sharon finally settled on one of the designs. She also wanted another fairly large cake to cater to her 100 guests at the lunch party. We made her a 15-inch square moist chocolate cake frosted with butter cream and decorated with fondant Mickey icons to compliment the 2-tier fondant Mickey Mouse cake. Well, the end result as you can see in the pictures are awesome.
Well, we can’t be happier than to know we have made someone happy. Have a special event coming up? Need a special cake? Take a peek at our Cake Creations Gallery: http://www.at19culinary.com/gallery_cake.html. For enquiries on our custom order designer cakes, please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.

At 19 Culinary Studio hosted Samsung’s media event presenting their 8 episode unique web series of “Wind Chimes in a Bakery”, a Korean Inspired love story directed by famous Korean director, Jang Jae Hyeok. A local production played by Ahmad Nabil (as Adam) and Koe Yeet (as Sue), was brought to life by Samsung Galaxy S4. The series is being released by episodes from 20 July to 30 August on Samsung Malaysia’s You Tube channel.
The event was held at our culinary studio and we conducted a Red Bean Bun baking class for the invited media. It was absolutely great fun and everyone had a blast. After a fun baking session, everyone enjoyed the screening of the drama in the comfort of our lounge area. The Red Bean buns looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Everyone gave the thumbs up, including our chicken curry puff served during tea break.
