It's time again for us to feature our "Cake of the month" to showcase what we consider our best custom made order cake. The Cake of the month for Aug is a 2-tier 1st Birthday Cake for little Ian and what a birthday cake it was. When Sharon e-mailed us to design a fondant Mickey Mouse cake for her son's 1st birthday party, we couldn't wait to give her our recommendations of the various Mickey Mouse cakes we have done for our customers.
We discussed some cake sample pictures
and Sharon finally settled on one of the designs. She also wanted another
fairly large cake to cater to her 100 guests at the lunch party. We made her a 15-inch square moist chocolate cake frosted with butter cream and
decorated with fondant Mickey icons to compliment the 2-tier fondant
Mickey Mouse cake. Well, the end result as you can see in the pictures are awesome.
