At 19 Culinary Studio was proud to be the host for the winners of IKEA’s Pretty Smart Kitchen Contest which ran in June. The winners were invited to a hands-on Swedecook event cooking up a storm under the guidance of Chef Khai in our kitchen. Of course all recipes were typically Swedish – Swedish Canapes (fish cakes on toast with salad and saffron mayonnaise), Jansson’s Temptations, Lindstromare (minced mutton with beetroot, capers & spices served with picked cabbage and onion sauce), Dark Chocolate Kladdkaka with raspberries.
Needless to say, all the winners had
fun and fond memories of their cooking experience at At 19 Culinary Studio. Karen Ng of IKEA has this to say "Thanks and yes, we had fun. We're glad to also see the winners were all eager to learn and one of them even blogged about the event."
